Landscape Tech/Lead

Come join the Bennett Management team! For nearly 50 years we have served Eugene, providing landscape maintenance on properties we own and manage in the Eugene and Springfield area. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team.

Ability to communicate well with customers, co-workers, supervisor, and your assistants is vital. Pay will be commensurate with experience and performance.

Position Requirements:
*Valid Insurable Oregon Driver’s License
*3+ years’ experience in landscaping
*Drive and pull trailer safely and efficiently
*Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
*Ability to operate all landscape equipment safely and effectively
*Ability to learn new skills with minimal instruction
*Able to work in all types of weather situations
*Must be able to stand on your feet for the majority of the day


Primary Responsibilities:
*Complete your daily landscape maintenance route efficiently.
*Completing ALL aspects of landscape management to meet the high standards of the company and our clients.
*Mowing, Edging, and Blowing or raking of all debris and leaves out of landscapes and all hard surfaces.
*Fertilizing, Pruning, and Weeding as needed
*Irrigation repairs

*Construction Experience is a plus as well, but not a requirement


*This position is not seasonal - 40 hours a week year round

Maintenance Opportunities 

Carpenter / Maintenance


Bennett Management Company is seeking a qualified carpenter/maintenance technician. The position entails skilled and general labor; building and facilities maintenance, construction, dry rot repair, decking and fence projects, drywall, and basic plumbing and light electrical. Concrete work, appliance repair, HVAC, and roofing experience a BIG PLUS.

Guaranteed year-round employment - 40 hours per week.

Must have own basic tools and reliable vehicle.

The requirements for this position include but are not limited to:

- Performing maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance at various local properties
- Installation of home appliances
- Leak repairs
- Understand basic framing and bracing techniques
- Able to install doors, windows, and finish packages
- Have experience with various exterior siding types
- Experienced in dry rot repair

Extra consideration given for applicants with the following skills:

Facilities/Operation Coordinator

Facilities/Operations Manager

Bennett Management Company is seeking a skilled individual who has practical maintenance experience as well as excellent organizational and administrative skills to be the Facility/Operations Manager. If you excel at Project Coordination, but also enjoy working with your hands; this is a great opportunity to work at a single site and thrive in a variety of tasks.

This position is full time, year-round, and offers a full benefit package.

Supporting the HOA Board of Directors and Unit owners requires a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

Administration (30%)

Customer service and support for owners within the HOA
Utilization of industry specific software like Appfolio
Adherence to annual budget with the monthly operating statement
Maintain lobby security system
Interface with vendors
Resolve issues/challenges that do not require direct Board or management attention
Building Operations (35%)

Oversee/coordinate safe and efficient operation/maintenance of all necessary building systems/equipment
Oversee building/life safety systems and emergency preparedness
Verify that capital projects are completed as defined by the Board of Directors
Maintain basic common electrical, plumbing, and building security systems
Installation of home appliances
Minor Leak repairs (common areas)
Basic framing and bracing techniques.
Ability to install doors, windows, and finish packages
Able to read and interpret SDS sheets, and OSHA safety policies
Specialized knowledge of:
Boiler types
Domestic water systems, including hot water recirculation system
Door lock types (low voltage and manual)
Electrical fixture types
Fire system operating procedures
Janitorial (35%)

Practice proper cleaning methods throughout the building and grounds
Maintain the proper appearance of all common areas
Daily trash removal
Daily interior and exterior walk arounds of building and grounds
